In this field, we have many different applications that are positioned outside the fluid technology. Here O-rings, seals, custom sealing solutions, buffer elements or various wear parts can be meant. Polyurethanes distinguish themselves in several ways from other elastomeric materials: for instance, in terms of wear and tear resistance. They show high resistance to explosive decompression. Additionally, Fietz Group considerably contributed to the improvement of the resistance to hydrolyzing media. This is why we are able to provide sealing solutions for hot water applications, industrial gases, critical lubricants, CIP media or cutting oil emulsions.
